As part of the huge week long Meltdown festival, now in its 20th year, we became part of the after-show entertainment every Saturday night. After such acts from legendary Iggy Pop and the Stooges - and the first performance of John Lennon and host Yoko Ono's Double Fantasy album – we enjoyed appearances from guest DJs that gave our event even more of an iconic edge that was consistent to the whole festival.
Held in front of the Royal Festival Hall, one of the most recognised locations in London with awesome views of the Thames and riverside London – delighted guests were able to enjoy the rich atmosphere. With some excellent choices in music people were up and having a great time right through to the end, and with such special guest DJs like Jonathan Ross, Peaches, Princess Julia, and a whole lot more, we definitely expected nothing less and weren’t disappointed.
As an annual event we can only hope that next year will be even better and that we can go back again to bring such a memorable night to people brought together through a taste of recognisably great music.
